What is a reverse Mortgage?

A Reverse Mortgage is a unique loan that enables senior homeowners to convert part of their equity in their homes into income or cash without having to sell the home, give up title, or take on new monthly mortgage payments. Reverse mortgages are available to individuals 62 or older who own their home.

  • Lump Sum paid at Closing
  • Any combination of the above

Reverse Mortgage Purchase Program

Starting in 2009 you can use a Reverse Mortgage to purchase a newer home.

This is great for seniors whether they are ‘trading up’ or downsizing. It’s also great for seniors who need to move to accommodate changes in their physical needs, such as when they need to move to one story living. Or perhaps you want a home that needs less maintenance.

What makes it even better is that you can get a reverse mortgage to purchase a home even if you have poor credit or don’t have a lot of income and couldn’t qualify for a traditional forward mortgage.

Better yet, while you still need to pay the property taxes and insurance on your new home, you don’t have a monthly mortgage payment!

  4. Complete application
